Karate: Bratislava (SVK) to host a second WUC in its History

BRUSSELS - After hosting the 6^th World University Whitewater Canoeing Championship in 2008, Bratislava, capital city of theSlovakRepublic will host a secondFISU World University Championship in its history, welcoming the best student-karatekas of the world in 2012.

Indeed the 8^th World University Karate Championship will take place in Bratislava from July 12^th to 15^th, 2012.

Karate is a key sport in FISUand usually welcomes the top athletes, such as Slobodan Bitevic (SRB) who won the gold medal at the 7^th World University Championship in Podgorica (MNE) and at the 2010 WKF World Championships.
