Rob lets rip at Vince ban |

ROBERTO MANCINI was fuming last night as Vincent Kompany lost his red card appeal.
Manchester City skipper Kompany misses four games for his dismissal in Sunday's FA Cup loss to rivals United.
Mancini said: "In 30 years I've never seen a sending off for a tackle like this.
"Last week I also saw three or four players in the Premier League do tackles worse than Vincent and the ref did nothing, no yellow card, nothing."
United boss Alex Ferguson argued Kompany's tackle on his winger was dangerous — ref Chris Foy and the FA's appeal panel clearly agreed.
Still reeling from a 3-2 home defeat, City boss Mancini added: "If there was danger, Nani probably would have said something, especially to the referee. He didn't say anything."
Mancini blamed Wayne Rooney for persuading ref Foy to send off Kompany in the 12th minute.
The United striker held up two fingers to say it was a two-footed tackle.
Mancini still believes Rooney simulated brandishing a red card, adding: "He did this. Nani was there, he said nothing Vincent played the ball."
Kompany has a three-match ban for the red and a game added as it was his second this season.
The centre-back's ban starts with tonight's Carling Cup semi-final first leg against Liverpool.
City boss Mancini was himself criticised for brandishing an imaginary card in City's league win over Liverpool last week.
Mancini said: "Yeah, I did it. Everyone said apologise as in England we don't do this, so I apologised.
"In England, refs make incredible calls. Sometimes they send off for nothing. I don't understand."
